From June 7–9, 2024, the international edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles was held in Guanajuato, Mexico. This competition has taken place outside of Brussels only twice and is considered one of the three most important wine competitions in the world.
The competition recognizes the finest wines worldwide. This year, more than 7,500 wines participated, and Mexico earned 9 Grand Gold medals—5 of them for Baja California. Among the winners were Solar Fortún’s Syrah 2022, which received a Grand Gold, as well as a Gold Medal for our Noble Cru 2016.
Our Syrah has steadily positioned itself as one of the best Syrah wines in Mexico over recent years, and this award undoubtedly cements its place among the Top 10 wines in the country.
